Keyboard MacBook Air 13″ M1 A2337 Spare Part
A damaged keyboard on the MacBook Air M1 can certainly be repaired, but it involves some effort.
Replacing the keyboard on a MacBook Air with Apple’s M1 chip is a more complex process than on previous models, and should only be attempted by someone with experience working on MacBooks. This is due to the layout of the keyboard and the way it is connected to the rest of the device.
Here is a general process for replacing the keyboard on a MacBook Air M1:
Gaining access to the internal components by removing the screws and opening the case.
Removing the battery connector, and the battery if is glued in place.
Removing the top case and unplugging any cables connecting it to the logic board, and remove the keyboard.
Replace the keyboard, making sure that all cables are plugged back in and the battery is properly seated
Reassemble the device by reversing the steps above.
