Rubber Feet MacBook Air

Some MacBooks like to lose the rubber feet and then the device slides around on the table. Since these are very easy to replace and also cost little, you can easily replace them without any major problems.

Rubber feet, also known as “foot pads” or “footings,” are small, raised pads made of rubber that are located on the bottom of a MacBook Air (or other laptop) to provide grip and stability when the device is placed on a flat surface. They also help to prevent scratches and damage to the bottom of the device. The rubber feet on a MacBook Air are located at the four corners of the device and are typically about 1/8th of an inch thick.

The rubber feet can become worn or damaged over time, and may need to be replaced. Apple does not sell replacement rubber feet for MacBook Air separately, but you can find third-party replacement rubber feet from various online retailers and repair shops. These replacement rubber feet can be easily affixed to the bottom of the MacBook Air using adhesive.

It’s important to note, that you can also use a laptop cooling pad that have rubberized undersurface to prevent slipping, and also help to keep the device cool by providing extra airflow.
