Replacement display MacBook Air 13″ A1466
The display of the robust and still frequently used MacBook Air from the years 2013 – 2017 is easy to change and no longer expensive.
The MacBook Air (2013) features a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1440×900 pixels. This resolution is considered to be “HD-ready,” which means that it can display high-definition content, but it’s not considered as Full HD resolution. With this resolution you can have clear images and good text legibility but it’s not as sharp as it could be with a higher resolution.
The display on the MacBook Air (2013) is an LED-backlit glossy widescreen display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The color reproduction and contrast ratio of the display is quite good and display is quite bright and vibrant, however, the viewing angles are not as wide as those of newer models, with some color shift if the device is viewed from off-center.
It should be noted that the MacBook Air (2013) does not have a high-resolution “Retina” display like newer models, which have a much higher resolution and increased pixel density, resulting in sharper and more detailed images.
